Dear Educator: You are cordially invited to participate in this two-day TCEA technology conference this coming August 2 & 3, 2018.  Back by popular demand are Janet Corder and Joan Gore of J2 Training ready to get everyone excited about educational technology tools.  Come learn from TCEA staff and many wonderful and talented people from Region I, Laredo ISD,   United ISD, and the City of Laredo.

Dr. Laura Sheneman is the Coordinator of Library Services and Information Resources for Region One Education Service Center. She has delivered thousands of hours of continuing education opportunities and is passionate about teaching school librarians and others how to build their personal learning network and take charge of their personal professional development.

Dr. Sheneman's is recognized as a change agent, consultant, and coach. Her professional workshops and research have established many contacts in South Texas and with key personnel across the state of Texas and beyond. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in Library Science for Sam Houston State University and in Educational Technology for the University of Texas RGV. She serves on various state and national committees and is noted for providing visionary, results-oriented leadership which delivers quality educational opportunities for lifelong learners.

Dr. Sheneman's interests include K-12 education, educator preparation, professional development, and educational/instructional technology. She is particularly interested in how technology can be used to enhance and advance current practices including training opportunities and lifelong learning.

Dr. Sheneman is the co-author of Crash Course in Family Literacy Programs and author of several articles related to librarianship and technology.
